Why I Paint

I’m a painter based in North Vancouver, mainly using acrylics. I tend to release 2-3 online collections of my landscape and abstract paintings a year, and ship across North America.

In between those, I take on a handful of commissions, and will open up my Pop-up Print Shop quarterly with Limited Edition Reproductions.  Currently you can find some of my work locally at @artisancollective_ , in the @northvanarts Art Rental program (to rent or buy). In South Surrey/White Rock, you can find paintings at @madeleinedesigngroup.
The best way to get your hands on my newest paintings, is to join my collector’s mailing list. 

I have twin boys who keep me silly, prefer tea over coffee, sleep over late nights, dancing over sitting and I have yet to perfect my homemade pizza crust but I’ll keep trying.  I’m a painter based in North Vancouver, mainly using acrylics. I paint for two main reasons:
1. To feel balanced, calm, and for my own mental well-being or however you like to phrase it. To remind myself of wonderful things I’ve seen or places I’ve been that I love.
2. To share with other people artwork that helps them feel that same balance and calm, reminding them of places they’ve been or good feelings they’ve felt.  Check out my next blog video which is a timelapse of making A Day to Remember and you'll see what I mean.
